Account and Data Deletion

What Data Will Be Deleted?

When you delete your account in the app, we will delete or anonymize personal data associated with your Voxelo account, including:

• Account profile information, such as name and email address.
• Authentication account records connected to Voxelo.
• Learning preferences, app settings, and saved progress linked to your account.
• Practice history, generated learning content, and other user-created app data linked to your account where applicable.
• Local usage counters and temporary cached learning data associated with your account on the device where deletion is completed.

What Data May Be Retained?

Some information may be retained when required for legal, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or app store subscription record purposes. This may include limited transaction records handled by Google Play, Apple App Store, RevenueCat, or other payment providers.

• Account and app profile data: deleted when the in-app deletion process is completed.
• Local practice data on your device: cleared from the app on the device where you complete account deletion.
• Support emails about account access or privacy help: retained only as reasonably necessary to respond to the request, maintain security, resolve disputes, and comply with applicable law.
• Payment, subscription, tax, and fraud-prevention records: retained by Apple, Google, RevenueCat, or us for the periods required by applicable law, accounting obligations, fraud prevention, dispute handling, or payment platform rules.
• AI and transcription provider records: content already submitted to OpenAI may remain in abuse-monitoring logs for up to 30 days under OpenAI's default API controls, unless legally required for longer.
• Generated speech cache: speech audio held in temporary backend memory expires automatically within 24 hours.
• Backup and provider copies: may remain for a limited period under the applicable provider's backup rotation, security, and deletion procedures before automatic deletion or overwrite.

Retained information will not be used to provide the deleted account with active app services.

Processing Time

In-app account deletion is processed immediately after confirmation. Some retained records and backups may remain only for the periods and purposes described above.
